D. Pharm. (Diploma in Pharmacy) is the minimum qualification to become a registered Pharmacist in India. The program offers an outcome-focused curriculum to equip students with essential skills for entry-level roles in retail and hospital pharmacies, pharmaceutical companies, and government sectors. It also provides knowledge in healthcare and biochemical science, preparing students for careers as pharmacy experts, clinical researchers, and pharmaceutical scientists. With state-of-the-art labs and a well-equipped library, VU ensures students receive hands-on experience and access to the latest resources, enabling entrepreneurship upon course completion.

B. Pharmacy (Bachelor of Pharmacy) is a four-year, job-oriented degree for science students pursuing careers in the pharmacy sector. With eight semesters, the program covers key areas like Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacology, Human Anatomy, Biochemistry, and Pharmacy Management. Students gain both theoretical and practical knowledge about drug preparation, their effects on the human body, and quality healthcare. Regulated by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), the course equips students to ensure proper medication use, preparing them for diverse roles in healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.

Duration: 4 years

Eligibility: Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry

The M. Pharm. Pharmaceutics program develops skilled professionals for pharmaceutical research and academics, while the Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance specialization focuses on Pharmaceutical Analysis, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs. The two-year program equips students for careers in academia, research, regulatory affairs, formulation development, marketing, and QA/QC. Students gain hands-on experience with advanced instruments, industry insights, and exposure to the latest trends through industrial visits and expert sessions.
